In just 4 weeks we fully automated and operationalized data transformation on our data platform to update daily (integrating with Ookla speedtests and feeding into Esri dashboards) so state broadband offices can quickly and easily see ROI on their funded projects. During the panel, I shared a success story of IBM and Ookla's partnership in response to a challenge Jim issued: How can state broadband offices ensure funded projects have been completed to standard? It is astounding and exciting to see the rapid progress his office is making towards closing the gap of unserved homes in SC. ![]() Jim is truly a visionary and leader in his execution of equitable broadband expansion and closing the digital divide. ![]() Ookla’s map shows the number of 5G networks in a city or area, the network. ![]() I had the honor to share a panel with Richard Leadbeater (State Government Industry Solutions Esri) and Jim Stritzinger (Director of SC Broadband Office South Carolina Office of Regulatory Staff), and the opportunity speak on the work IBM is doing to help in the broadband space.
